Almost two hundred unique performances, under eight distinct and incomparable directors. For fifty years, Bel Canto has been delighting audiences, and this first concert of 2024 is a celebration of a cappella works, selected from performances representing each of the five decades since the choir's inception. From madrigals and English folk songs, to Debussy's only unaccompanied choral works, Moses Hogan's stirring arrangements, and Andrew Balfour's shimmering soundscapes, the night will be a testament to the timelessness of choral music, and a confirmation that Bel Canto is only just getting started,
